You might be one year older than me then cos I took my O levels in 1970 too, but I took 'em at 15 cos I went to a posh skool! Got the French, but was unfortunately unable to do metalwork, we did things like fu ckin Latin!. Too posh!Seems my french teacher was right when I got failed at 'O' level french in 1970. So I'm sat enjoying a glass of Austrian Gruner when I notice the **** tyres on the Defender, in fact the same tyres that have phooked my steering box. I have 16 inch modulars with some bell end moon raker tyres as the deal was too good to pass. What I want is a small tyre that take the stress off the steering box and effectively lowers the Drover as the basted thing won't go in the garage anymore. Anyway, without having a PHD in rubber what basted tyres will fit this clusterphook so I can eek out a deal?
I think I've just driven too many basted defenders this year and need a break, and relax.

@doriz i only had Avon rangemasters.
Just been given 5 nice tyres/rims as payment for collecting & fitting 5 other rims/tyres.
Don’t do chunky off road tyres.
15” look weird on a defender.
Chop some out the spring to lower it
