Morning all :D
Another lovely day out there.
This may mandate a trike ride later.
Paper got, cats fed, bin-bags are out for collection (a neighbour has foolishly put theirs out overnight and, well.... FOXES) my dishes from yesterday are put away coffee made.
Everything is as it should be. I think. I will go refresh the bird table in a minute (bloody greedy pigeons).

I agree, it is what I did 16 years ago and the softwood has lasted. Good luck :)

That the restart of some businesses after lockdown is appearing to be so painful.
I have been trying for 2 weeks to get timber for a small building project.
Places either cannot do ordering over the phone because their "pre-virus" process was visit see yard blokes, confirm its in stock and then get a ticket written up, load your truck and check it out at the gate.
Now, they cannot allow you on site to do that intermediate bit and check its available so they won't take the order from you.
I finally went direct to a timber merchant rather than a builders merchant and they are struggling because supplies have been interrupted, everyone's backlogged and orders are seeing stuff fly out of stock faster than it is coming in.

Prime the tongue and groove before on the panels before assembly as otherwise when they shrink you’ll be left with a bare strip of timber on show

Back into wales..,,, parked up at a snack van as just been informed they now open at 8:mad:
Excellent grub stop at Montford Bridge just north west of Shrewsbury on the A5. Big cafe in pleasant park surroundings, good grub, eat inside or outdoors. Was an annual stop off on me run with a van full of bikes on the way to Anglesey Circuit, now sadly no longer on my route.

Got the same problem, Wickes are out of stock of me bricklayering sand, I only got a 130 or so bricks to lay n finish the job and I won't use a different sand cos it will look odd when the mortar sets n dries. That jobs been on hold over a month now but got loads of other stuff done and still going.

Afternoon folks:)

Just finished playing with sand:) don’t know why they call it sand cos it looks nothing like it, suppose it was when they originally made them. Put the lid on and run the pump tomorrow to get rid of the dust, then it’s a waiting game for the sun to get it warm enough:).

M has had a cloudy eye for a while so went to see the eye doctor today. Turns out she has a funny shaped eye;) and the retina was pulling away and lots of other stuff about fluid and old age:eek: anyway all Lasered and good to go:)

Things seem to be opening up more here so may try our local restaurant over the weekend see if it has opened It has loads of outside seating so should be:)

I see every one is keeping busy doing stuff they have been putting off:D
