The professional plumber has come back, changed the pump and the motorised valve and.....
Nothin...
Heating nor hot water...
He can't see what the problem is, he rang hiselectrician mate....
Who can't come soon.
He himself can't fix it...
.
So we are back where we were. No HW or CH.
For "stanage" read "plumberage"

and have dottir and Sil coming for dins.:(

I'll have to ring them and get them to put more clothes on.

I hope you all have better days that we are having.:):):)

Not much of a "Professional" then is he?

Does the boiler fire up? Does it shut itself down shortly thereafter?
Has the "overheat" trip popped and needs a reset?

l always thought it was an expansion contraction wear issue on the pipe. or sealing cavities apart.

Afternoon folks :).

Another nice sunny day albeit lower in temp, cant grumble for this time of year.

So back into big town for more residence card fun;). Only to be handed back another set of forms with the instruction of copies of this and thato_O gave you them with the other forms🤷‍♂️🤷‍♀️. not the point new forms;) The forms I was expecting in the first place which mostly consist of pre printed info to just circle, true/false. but still some writing needed in a couple of places, So. Not to mess it up, I picked up a takeaway and came home:D.

Trailer of wood outside to stack in the porch tomorrow, hope it don't rain overnight.

Well your plumberer has really left you "Staned" ;).

I would expect a plumber who takes on boilers to have experience of the electrics for heating systems as a basic requirement.

Fire up the boiler.
Does the new pump come on? (is it like for like(ish)?)

You had a degree of heating and hot water before so something works, whats changed?

Evening all....Todays happenings............
My two work buddies turned up late & got sent home so I had a great day working on my own apart from
trashing a tyre on the jcb duck so I had to change that, they are the split rim with the locking rings.
Waiting on more parts for the metal sheer as it wasnt cutting properly so thats a 4k bill for parts n labour to get it set up
now ive seen whats involved I'll be doing it next time. Pics to follow it should cut metal like butter with all the new bits. :cool: :cool:

Got home & got my delivery of 16 led strip lights for the garage so been out & fitted the brackets to the joists had the space
heater on tis cold n cats n dogs. Then brought all the wiring indoors to do to much delight of the misses. Im a pita btw 🤣🤣
