"In ear monitor". Kinda like an earbud type headphone but with a silicon thingy so it goes into the ear better and isolates itself from outside sounds.

Can't beleeve I've just had to tell you summat about modern tech!

I'll have to have a lie down!!🤣

Must be very small monitor to get it in yer ear unless you've got black hack taxi door ears.

Are they not called ear phones everywhere else. 🤣🤣

Just MOT'd the Land Rover today. The place I usually go to has all new people working there and they appear to be a bit more diligent than the last lot. I now have advisories that my springs are rusty and that there is rust on the front inner wings. The latter are a bit flaky and appear to be delaminating. They've been like that for a while, but they're being noticed now.
There's various stuff I have in mind to do over the next year or so. I must work my way through the suspension bushes as the existing set have been on for over a decade. Things are looking a bit juicy around the fuel pressure regulator, so it might be time for another one of those. So I might add new springs and inner wing panels to the shopping list.
"Rusty springs" is interesting.
Ever since my MOT testing station changed hands and the prefious owners were forced to fit a state-of-the-art testing bay, which is online to VOSA in real time, this has been turning up on advisories for our cars. In fact I have been given far more advisories than usual. But my cars still pass unless there is a real bloomer.
So the overall result is that it isn't a problem. So I am convinced this is just a paper (or online) exercise where the final cert has to include "stuff" to make it look as if the tester is doing his job properly.
I was joking with my local Motabitz staff about this today. We all agreed about the silliness of the "rusty springs" thing. Are we all going to wire brush and paint them? If so, what paint can you use?
Joking apart, broken springs are not funny. But I have never had one break on any car I have ever owned.

Errrr, can't see why not, there'll be a hexpert along shortly if they aint 😃
I think they are a cross between running lights, fog lights and sidelights. so i doubt they are dodgy. You can check it out on the Gov.uk construction and use site I expect. When you think about lorry cabs with blue lights all over the place....

No!
Dear me, you have so much to learn!!! 🤣 🤣 🤣

(Sez me having done research and asked my grandson who is an audio tech engineer. ) there are about 10 differnet types of headphones as I found out!) some even act on the bones in your head. To be used by the peeps with hearing probs.

The trick is to peel them until there are no green (bitter) leaves left on them. just yellow ones.
Cross cut in the bottom/stalk.
Then boil them for not too long. In salted water.
They taste nice just like that, with a bit o gravy.

The smokey bacon, butter sauté thing is a nice touch.
Ah dun't bovver wiv all that messing about. Tip bag of frozen sprouts in slow cookerer wiv other veggerbuls and water. Cook until boiling. Use a packet mix or oxo gravy. Eye likes soft veg.
