I would just like to say

Sadly the Great South Run has been cancelled due to forecast of 45mph winds and rain. Someone we know has been training for it for two years, so a great pity.
I know it's still a bit early, but said foul weather is currently conspicuous by its absence.

0820 update. All the seagulls have turned up, we're a mile inland, usually a good indicator..

Evidence of overnight rain, but OK now. Supposed to be getting more rain later today, allegedly when I am trying to BBQ the fillets for tonight's dinner.
