Morning all.
Took me about 1/2 an hour to cleanse the Augean Stables that was our kitchen this morning.
No wonder they didn't bother me to let them out.
Happily this hardly ever happens.
Sun shining, W will be off soon to her sewing circle.

Anyone know what brand to go for on a car aircon pump? Dads fiat ducato is making bad pump noises.. we think previous garage has kindly swapped his good one for a knackered one.. but can't prove it

Got a call from Jaguar Landrover to cancel tomorrow's safety recall as they have not yet received the parts ! Really would have thought a large efficient organisation such as them would be able to source parts fairly quickly FFS
Perhaps I should offer to buy the parts and free issue to them to install.

A bit of lathe-play today.
I am trying to make a diverter pulley for the drive chain of the trike.
It is a chunk of Delrin/Acetal which as a material usually performs very well in this role.
I have fluffed the order of operations and may have made things more difficult for myself than it could have been.
It is a nice material to turn except for the swarf/stringy stuff that gets everywhere.

The Cat always manages to puke or poop where it will do the most damage. Absorbent or open-weave surfaces, along the joints in the laminate flooring so it will "blow" the flooring panel etc. etc.I just followed my nose!
Plus the fact they didn't wake me up at 0630 as usual.
The flooring in every room is ruined.

I know what you mean. This is why I always close rooms with absorbent flooring, but the hall floor which is wooden laminate has a couple of washable rugs on it. tiled kitchen floor makes it easier. This is where it all happened during the night.The Cat always manages to puke or poop where it will do the most damage. The flooring in every room is ruined.
One of the rugs is on the line as we speak from an event a few nights ago.
