Reserve was 15k I think, not sold anyway, good car for someone, solid underneath and engine still like new after rebuild by Vic Young, lightened, balanced, race cam etc etc, goes like stink, I had it round to 120 and it was still pulling, revs to about six grand. needs a bush on one of the anti tramp bars and there's a dry bush on the front that creaks but that's down to little use.
It can be used for historic racing as well, she's been offered 18k but turned it down, think she'd take it now if offered.

Drizzly, warm and muggy here.
We both have dental appointments for the next 10 days. At least we are still with an NHS dentist.
W's doctors surgery has been taken over by a bunch of idiots. So she is looking to change. She narrowed it down to two so I asked the question on Nextdoor, "which do people recommend?" Overwhelming reply for one of them. Now I can't get back onto Nextdoor to close the thread down. :mad::mad::mad:
With 2.8 K views she might be lucky to still get in there!

So....
Went to the vet's to get the dog's stitches out.
Blokey did it, I asked him what he thought the smelly breath was down to, having told him all the history of the blood test the endoscopy, the teeth clean etc etc. (The results of the analysis from the ganglion -ectomy still weren't in.)
He looked in er gob, and showed me two places, both back teeth, where there was brown stuff on what he said were roots, due to receded gums. He said it could be that and also "food pockets". In fact more than "it could be". He said they needed to come out in 6 months to a year.

FFS!

If he is right we have spent a fortune on unneccessary examinations and tests. And it means I was right in the first place when I told the Frog vet that we thought the smell was her teeth.

In the past these vets have been really good, but we are chary of the boss man's daughter who does make mistakes. She is the least experienced.
They have asked us to keep them up to date.

I will wait for the reuslts before telling them what he said!
