Unauthorised use of a vehicle, who was insuring it? Quite apart from the use of fuel and possible harm done to it?What a day !!!
Collected MGC from auction people, 20 quids worth of fuel gone and 60 odd extra miles on the odometer .
Man said maybe it was taken somewhere for photographs
What ,, sixty mile round trip ??
Also oil in drip tray under car, car never leaked any oil in past eight years !! (it's been threshed)
Turns out it was one of two cars photographed at Oulton Park 13.5 miles away
Can't see why because the Auction venue is a fantastic place with a castle and stunning scenery ?
Maybe because the car was road legal and the photographer fancied a jolly, or maybe a track day ???
Car was supposed to be transported everywhere (extra cost paid) and no permission given to put sixty miles on the clock.
Now if the car had been sold or if they had put some fuel in then we wouldn't have noticed.
Given all the details and our suspicions to my feisty niece as it's her car, watch this space

bloody nearly 50 quid in fuel place to place to place buzz off wasted my day I thought I was having a few hours off.

in march some time. Then went up to my mates garage in glasgow dropped of the newest ecu for the mini & had a chin wag
for a while. Had to run about for the misses
