It's not quite the same item but the same principle and yes it could give you a bit of a shock!Vintage Engineers Pocket Fob Watch Para-Volt High & Low Reading Voltmeter Circa 1920s Battery Tester
Warning - these meters can be very dangerous as insulation to the metal case could be faulty and expose the user to very high currents or voltageswww.retonthenet.co.uk

Loved my focus but yes the oil filter was in an awkward placeDid the oil n filter service on me dottir's Focus today. Last year the filter was a pig to get off as its in an awkward place at the rear of the injun. So I bought a cup tool to get it off this year, checked it fitted on the new Bosch filter before I started. But the one I fitted last year was a Mahle, and new tool didn't fit - resorted to the chain wrench to get the old one off. And the higher lift ramps I promised myself I'd make a year ago still haven't been made so the clearance between the underside of the car and the upper side on me remained as tight as ever. And it was fair weather this morning, right up until I started the job when the rain started. It stopped again, just as I finished. Time for a hot bath I reckon.
