I thought the new rools were betterer. Yer get 6 years still but yer have to prove the fault was there since manufacture. Which is what eye would need to do. So not easy. Will have a bash at emailing them. Was finking of cc'ing me wuks email as we trade a lot with them.
In another case, (Currys and a non-working vacuum cleaner) they said they wouldn't do anything so, right there in the shop I said to them, "Are you actually refusing to take this item from me?" At which point they backed down and took it off to fix it.
As usual they dragged their feet a bit, so I used an old Hoover.
When they told me it was fixed I went in, and in front of some bemused customers, plugged it in and hoovered a bit of the shop, to test it. ;):D
Still got it in the garage for hoovering cars out with.;)

He's teasing will only bother me if he can properly stitch in the ditch and ask your wife what a pain they are. Heheh
Yerp, heard of that and a few other choice morsels!
She is currently looking for a 1 foot square cutting frame for her patchwork, she can only find 10" ones.
Don't ask me why!;) Apart form the obvious.
i don't think she even wants to cut out squares, it is something to do with strips. The answer seemed obvious to me.....

Yerp, she's got all that, which is why I can't see the problem. She also has a machine where you feed material in, turn a handle and a shaped cutter cuts material out perfectly. I gave it to her one Christmas I believe.
I also gave her a sharpener for her rotary cutters. (One of which she had pinched at her sewing day. Huh!)
Don't think it was a great success.
I'll have to ask her why this square thing is so important. Maybe I could make her one.

You could do it on your tile cutter, don’t forget with watta. That would surely mean she would never ask you for help again, bonus:p:D:D.
Don’t you have 1 of them old skool giloutine things. They were sharp and can’t see them allowing 10yr olds using them these days so must be loads available cheap:).

Blow!
When I retired that was one thing I never thought to nick!
Just asked W and she says it wouldn't work. :(
Just asked for further explanation. Apparently it is something to do with squaring up squares. (I still don't think I've got it.) Which have gone out of square while being sewn. By hand.
I give up.
