...that I have looked at the energy bill from Shell and it is flawed.
Incorrect estimated readings have been applied at the points where THEY changed their tariffs.
They are £30 out on the first part of their bill, and £23 on the second part a total of £53 overcharged in a single month.
Why is it that their profits year on year are so high? ITs because they are fleecing the consumer, that's why.
To add insult to injury they then apply 5% VAT to this overcharge amount.
As they hide behind a web-site there is no-one you can raise this with. I am more than a little miffed.

hope he is the one you need.

they have all diff uses though, ill back her up.
So do ours! We have two for sewing tough materials like leather and vinyl for soft tops etc, also a computer type thing for doing embroidery type stuff. We also have to have at least one in Frogland. They are of all ages from hand turned Singer, to treadle Singer, through 70s Pfaff, to more modern Janome.
But no overlocker sadly.:(:(:(

treat her to one but not a new singer. I have this one Brother M343D Overlocker,White,33.5 cmx29.6 cmx28.2cm : AmazonSmile: Home & Kitchen

it fab, used it many times and so much easier than a stretch stitch on a machine.

Foolishly, I have a chinese made "shoe-patcher" sewing machine for heavy stuff like canvas and leather. Don't ask me why, it was purchased on a whim. It works well though.
It is the same as a Singer 29K15 but very roughly made.
Personally, I prefer hand stitching leather and I feel that the resultant look & feel is far superior on thick leather if you do a proper saddle-stitch.
I made a minimalist wallet for each of each of my son's the other year, just as a project to see how well they would turn out. Another of Dad's "fads". :D

Very interesting, but you wouldn't buy hides and then make a pair of seats for a car, would you? It'd be good if your machine could handle that..
I had an boy or a pro make mine for the kit car I have yet to finish. He used a machine, obvs. He also did the doorcards and left me enough matching leather to make boots for the gear lever and handbrake. and he only charged me £400 including supplying the leather. Back in the 1990s. He worked from the garage under his house. He had an old 1930s car in a corner stuffed with rools of material!
Bless him! I narrowed a pair of Morris 1000 seat frames and gave them to him asking him if it was possible to make them into curved back bucket seats, and he did it! He was an old boy then, must have passed long ago.
I've long wanted an industrial sewing machine, but they do go stupid fast!

Don't know.... Saddle-Stitch is like this inside the stitches. I like this sewing its a bit therapeutic, but it does make your finger sore. :D
The minimalist wallet I made for myself and used the Chinese machine to stitch I didn't like as much. It may be machine sewn, but there is no "soul" to it. :)

Again, very interesting!
The burd on the repair shop pulls two bits of leather thread out from the same pair of holes in opposite directions and carries on like that.
Anyway I'd love to see some pics of what you made!:):):)

This is the "machine-sewn" wallet. Untreated.
Theirs I treated with neatsfoot oil and embossed with patterning.
