They are £30 out on the first part of their bill, and £23 on the second part a total of £53 overcharged in a single month.
Why is it that their profits year on year are so high? ITs because they are fleecing the consumer, that's why.
To add insult to injury they then apply 5% VAT to this overcharge amount.
As they hide behind a web-site there is no-one you can raise this with. I am more than a little miffed. :mad:

Yes, and you should submit readings and ask for a re-calculation ...

If you've been keeping accurate records then you can present them to back your case for a refund.
I'd do that.
And I'd do it on paper to the CEO if i cannot find a "complaints " place on the website whcih I do agree is noramlly impossible nowadays. Websites tending to only go one way!

We had to do exactly the same thing with our sewage charges for exactly the same reason and we won, though it was pence compared to what you are claiming.:(:(:(
