I had to view on map to place it. It’s Kelsay which is ‘round the west’. Was through that way last year on Landrover run. It’s would certainly be nice and quiet round that way

It is nice and quite up there right enough. Bliss would pop to kilchoman for my lunch. The brownies are fab there.

Not sure what the present regs are but a couple of decades back you could get a grant for building a new house next to a ruin like that, but NOT if you were using part of the original. Made no sense to me!

Over here you got massive grants but you had to use one existing wall line for the new one. There’s been a couple of new houses built on the old footprint in the last four or five years around Bowmore and when you see the house, you think how much nicer it would have been if they had built it further back from the road

Yer ive been looking at propertys for a year its a joke. Old ruins on Islay too
starting bid of 44k Nice wee cottage not included just the land & old ruins.....
If I only had another £500 I would be buying this place. The shed itself is massive with a pit and workshop etc

A lot of them don’t have TV and only a few have the wireless radio
