This sounds barmy but we are annoyed it hasn't rained all day.

Here we have had flood warnings etc, all for today. So we put off doing things, like servicing W's car.
We accsherlly used the tombola dryer yessdi cos of it.
Yes, there were a few grey clouds. But none of them wetted here.

So we have had a day off, for no good reason.

Wifey was all excited about a programme on TV all about GPS and its history.
She got so annoyed when I told her what was going to be said and who the key pioneers were that she stopped the programme and deleted the recording and told me off.

Oops! what was getting up my nose was the supercilious presenter making out it was all so mysterious when it is all common knowledge. TV for the <85's I said...and that did it.
