A82 Across Rannoch Moor, Scotland
One of the most dramatic drives in Scotland, and perhaps the world; is the extreme flatness and sparseness of Rannoch Moor vs the sudden glacial landscape of the Glencoe Mountains. I have shown this to several people who's opinion I value and many have spotted something in this picture that completely elluded me until it was pointed out. I will not ruin it for you by telling you...

Might be/Could be/Dunno. :)
But they dug the two soakaways right on the boundary and <3' from my wall late this Summer.

And further to that.... building regs say soakaways should be 5M from their own property ( they aren't) and at least 2.5M from any boundary (they aren't). :(

For really cheap cooking people often use a Ramoska.
Comes from Eastern Europe where post-war power supply was scant. Works really well and is loved by Caravanners all over because it can roast a dinner on a camping pitches meagre power supply. :D

We have Dutch ovens for that. Indispensable kit. I have 4 of 'em, all cast iron, 2 being enameled. Gonna roast chicken in one tomaz. Stove top or over coals and open fire, they're awesome.
