Agreed, though having owned a Disco its not an experience I want to repeat
I've had three! Your point?

it doesn't, but tratterers are an insecure bunch of closet hairdressers.
I'm not in no closet. My tratter has a hairdryer, works off the cig lighter, see they have all the luxuries

is it to dry your hair when it leaks in the rain

That's how they get away with poor build quality!!!! No one admits that actually they're pretty crap for this day and age

But mine wasn't built in this day and age
Would love to see what a Freelander will look like when its as old as my Defender
defender/disco specifically designed to be 4x4 vehicles,if the defender was so crap in your opinion why is it still going after 65 years, following on from the series?
the fact is a freelander is a rover 200 in disguise with a 4x4 system thats totally ****,they made it slightly better by sticking a L series or M47 lump in it but t wont do what a disco or defender will

I'm not slagging fenders off if you read what I've said I like the Flippin things! It's just the narrow minded that can't accept other vehicles for what they are! And just by the way having owned and driven all of them off road I can assure you a freelander is very capable even without a low range I've embarrassed you "proper" landy owners several times off road. They're totally differen,t built to do different jobs and both do them well! And they're both unreliable. Yours rust ours do head gaskets, I can accept that. Can you? or shall I bring the tape measure round to compare sizes!!!!
