they do, just not on your laning trips. Also most freelander owners don't want to go laning.
So where do they go off roading, the pay and plays, or their back gardens

Wrong wrong wrong. Off road/on road Defender 90/10 disco 50/50 range rover 10/90. Freelander was built by bmw to celebrate bmw buying land rover and to go up against the likes of the jimny for younger drivers who wanted to hang out at the beach and drive a normal sized vehicle.
snow covered roads in winter, muddy fields for many various reasons.
it may not have occurred to you but most people don't go off-roading for the shear hell of doing it.
Why have a Land Rover then
Wonder if a Freelander would tow my 510 & two horses out of a muddy field
Oh no, just remembered, they dont have the towing capacity for a horse trailer
wrong
ffs because they want a freelander
No one buys a Freelander because they want one
They buy them because they dont have the guts to drive a proper Land Rover
You sure that's where they sit ?
I thought it went something like
Land Rover
Range Rover
Then the Discovery came along to slot in between as an all rounder.
Then the Gaylander came along for mobile Hairdressers.
Hell I've even seen the stickers you can get for the back of them saying "No Scissors left in this vehicle overnight"
explain the rangerover evoque then
Shamefull i know but i bought a freelander for my wife....wore the front tyres away, wouldnt turn tight corners, leaked water into footwells, rear window got stuck, ended up being front wheel drive as i wasnt sure it was supposed to handle like crap even though the vcu checked out ok, then to top it off lost 2k in 6 months when i sold the bag of ****e on....

I'll be getting one of those for my mate who's a gaylanderer then
just as easy to buy a pig of any other car
True my 90 had a rotten bulkhead, difference being it was worth fixing.
