Was thinking more of the central heating pump as W gets so cold, the freezer, provided it is not off for too long is left closed ought to be OK but you do have a point about the fridge. And we do tend to use electric lights quite a bit though we do have lovely old oil lamps and even two Tilleys.
Oh and W will still be able to watch the box. maybe should rethink this!!
They also did pink stamps, but no one ever mentions them. And I used to shop in a Co-op the last year in Lunnen and ended up actually buying stuff with their stamps.Worrabout green shield stamps, remember them? Think they morphed into Argos or something.
