Afternoon folks
.
Again a nice day but we didnt do anything
. But we did speak to the solicitor over zoom for nearly 3hrs now have the wills sorted, lets see what the drafts read as it may throw up a few more questions. Our heads are still a bit frazzeled
. but all for the good we hope
.
There are allsorts of things to think of and more that you don't think of that shouldn't be an issue
.
Anyway 2x wills, 4x POAs, 2x trust, 2x "Life interest" and we are 5k lighter in the pocket
.
I would say that anybody who has joint accounts/property should look at "LPAs" (lasting Power of Attorney) for both financial and medical.
As strange/morbid as it sounds just dying is easy, but becoming ill, mentally or physically incapable, can put a whole different view on things.
If married its slightly different but worth checking.
Need to talk to a financial adviser now as I am ****ed at the amount of IHT that will be due
.
But on a brighter note the little 4 hoofed thing happens to be a Boy and is now running around with most of the spindly legs in control
. Not bad for a 3 day old
.
