Judging by the cloud of feathers floating down I'd say it landed ready plucked. Or something which rhymes with pluckedNot much left for a pie then

Maybe that's the trick, the answer to the problem you have been trying to find for all this time!!!Morning All
Another awake night, punctuated with cat-love as she jumped up onto the bed.
Finally at 08:20 this morning she came back into the room to protest that her humans were not feeding her at 8AM as usual.
Shock horror!, don't know how, but she had been locked out of the kitchen with no access to her cat tray all night. Oh my, what could have happened?
No mess that I can find, so a lucky escape.
You do use grout protector don't you?...that I have to re-fix some tiles that I took off earlier and cleaned up to remove the old failed tile-cement & grout from around the bath.
The wooden frame underneath is a bit spongey in the corner but I don't want to rip the whole bath out just to replace that piece of wood so as "bodge-the-builder" says, 'do your best and caulk the rest'.
To be fair to myself, it has only failed because that OTHER person I live with has left her wet bath-sponge there in that corner after her bath every night for the past 30 years.
So now that I have fitted a bath caddy on the wall elsewhere for her sponge etc. perhaps it will be good for another 30 years when I finish bodging it up.
Didn't exist 27 years ago when I first tiled it ....honest!You do use grout protector don't you?
GOOD LUCK!!
Busy old day then!
wot exam's ee taking?
He takes after his mum!Part of his Engine Earing thingy course, some module or other, he got 98% in his Maffs last week…
Looking good Dan.. that today (after the tiling in the bathroom) I managed to get out to my little workshop to continue working on the 2WD "Freewheel" unit
The bolts ordered for the "bolt-cage" have failed to turn up View attachment 260848, so I decided to drill out the adapters for a 16mm axle size instead. I really didn't think my little lathe would be able to do it, but it did.
16mm is a truly monstrous hole to drill through a big round bar. I really need the axles on either side of the freewheel to be aligned so the 4-jaw chuck accuracy was adjusted to <1Thousandth of an inch prior to drilling commencing. I intend to assemble the unit with a short section of 16mm axle in place through both adapters to ensure the best alignment.
I did the drilling operation in progressive steps (4, 6,8,12 and finally 16mm).
It came out quite well I think. View attachment 260849

Well, I can now say I have actually been in a Freelander it towed my trailer job jobbed!
