Well today was busy.
Cutting the "Grass". Two tankfuls of peteroil in the big weedwhacker and still just a bit to do and the strimming.
The guy who cuts it when we are away charges €100 a time, he earns it!
Messing around paperwork wise to organise Covid tests fortunately French friends in Cherbourg will help, put us up and entertain us for a few nights. Our last stay "chex eux" had to be cut short due to weather in the channel, so we are looking forward to it. 1/2 an hour hanging on the line to Britney ferries. So lucky that in France it don't cost us nothin!!
Off tomoz to pick up the "new" front prop and some new wheel nuts. Nearest Landy secondhand parts supplier, 20 miles, wonder how long he will stay in business?
Amazing how many websites, both in the UK and over here fail to give you a usable phone number. So still waiting on an email to be able to start to organise our Covid tests.
Pool open all day to try and warm it up. Huh! Got to 22 degrees. Useless!
Changed out of gardening clothes in the kitchen, as you do, was wearing shorts and suddenly felt something soft on my right hip, flicked it off, it turned out to be some sort of processional caterpillar. Didn't sting me nor nuffin but tinternet is full of advice as to how poisonous these little beggars and others like them are. It's in a glass jar now!
