A touch of autumn in the air this mornin', wet on the ground but not rainin'.
Today is the big tyre replacement day, I like driving a car with all new tyres on, :) I'm sure it is all in the mind but it does seem to drive much more 'satisfyingly' and I'll have an hour's drive back to wallow in the enjoyment.
Don' forget that it is a real Friday today so you can all enjoy the anticipation of ………………. a wet weekend.:(

Morning all tis wet here not raining but it aint looking good, im having a day off from work.
First jobs is to the yard got to move a couple of trailers an my boat.
Kinda deflated at whats happened, silly lad as he had a good thing here with good people in our
circle, he wouldnt have been stuck for anything now he's fcuked it. I will keep it to myself atm
and get the job finished. Not sure how to handle it yet but got a bit of time to think it over.

Anyhoo nuff of depressing sh!te tis a new day onwards an upwards :D:D
I hope you lot have a good day & a better weekend. :):)

I hope that she is ok, between you it must be difficult getting things done. You both need to take it easy, your dvt and having a poorly wife can take its toll. Our thoughts are with you.
Thanks very much, Mate!
She is OK today apart from looking like she has done a round with Mohammed Ali!
She was doing something she shouldn't have been doing and will not do it again.
She tripped over part of the tie down stuff for the pool cover, which is my job to take off and put back.
My DVT is getting better and is almost back to normal. I don't even notice it any more.
You look after yourself too!:):):)

Feel for you mate.
Gave it a bit of thort and came to the conclusion it can go one of two ways, either a severe telling off, a financial settle up and him being told this is the last time you ever try and pull a stunt like that, and if you do you are down the road and, as you said, you' won't work round here again.
OR you skip all this , get your dosh off him and send him down the road after telling him why.
It all depends on whether you think he could ever be trusted again.

Bloody shame as I got the impression you both got on well.
Very like the story of that MOT tester I told you all about. Altho he had actually broken the law and left his employer very nearly in deep do-dos.
Hope you will be as "happy" as you can be with the outcome whatever you do.:(:(:(:(

Right peeps im absolutely gutted an blown away:(:(:mad: to find out that my buddy an work mate
n partner is a total liar. Wots it about the usual "money" I was away doing other things so he was dealing
with a job..wages for two lads & materials ect so he got some money off the customer as the job escalated and needs more time/materials bla bla I asked how much the customer gave him, 4500 was
his reply so I gave him invoices from the hire shops ect and the costs of wages to pay the lads.
Gave me a grand as thats what was left.....

I had a chat with a friend who is a friend of my customer, I was suspicions when he was hesitant
when I asked how much he gave him. So I went to see my pal who made the call on the QT.
Thing is we went to a golf shop today where he spent over 500 quid on a set of 2nd hand irons.
then I had a call to find out what he was given and the answer was 10k ffs.:mad:

He doesnt have a clue that I know, but I dont want to give the game away yet as I need him to
finish the job. I am fkn ragin :mad:
Spent an hour on the phone tonight with him as nothing had happened. Now that was a hard
call. :( What do to next..
Oh dear that must be very disappointing indeed. He's not the one you treated to a very expensive Estwing hammer is he? :(
I admire your ability to refrain from breaking his face/arms/legs.
5 and a half grand is a lot to pocket from a business partner, I would be absolutely steaming.
The thing is once a trust is broken it can never, ever be repaired.
