Oops!Just finished cleaning my car. What went wrong? EVERYTHING. Me and the pressure washer seem to have had a bit of a difference of opinion and then 'it' won and I got wet, very, very wet.

I dismembered it comprehensively and slung the bits back in the shed.Yeah! Rip a branch off a tree an give it a Damn good
thrashing!
I thought John Lewis was a company where all the employees were part owners and there fore partners. The government released a list of 191 firms that were publicly named for breaking the national minimum wage law, with the department store being amongst the top of the list

Speaking as a fellow peeps with swollen leg syndrome, mine being a DVT allegedly, may I offer her my deepest sympathy and the hope she gets over it quickly!?Her leg has swollen up again so she can't walk. It is a thrombosis but not the dvt type! Should be ok in a few days
Silence can never be misquoted
Well today wasn't brill.
We started off ok with dottir in law coming with us to the market as she wanted to cook us a Japanese dinner. that all went fine.
We than went back home where it was just about warm enough for us to open the pool so the grandkids could swim.
So we did then I went off with stepson to try and solve various issues which he has with his campervan.
One, the loose door handle where some Paris Pikeys have been "trying" it too forcefully we fixed in a jiffy.
The second problem, namely superglue in the lock to his gas tank stowage we couldn't easily fix. I looked at knocking the hinge pin out but it would have taken a load more heavy bashing than he was prepared to countenance, so that didn't happen.
The third problem was the lack of power to the electrics on board when he is not hooked up to the mains. He had to take the passenger seat out to be able to test the leisure batts. They both showed 12.2 volts and didn't move when he started it up, and revved it a bit.
No real idea what it means but I think there is a cr@p connection somewhere cos the scale on the electrical panel/box of tricks shows the power is at half way when it ought to show more.
So one out of three fixed!
Then everything going fine until a shout went up and Wifey had fallen yet again.
Big bruise over one eye and grazed both knees and elbows as well as her hands.
For some reason she took it into her head to close the pool. Something she never normally does and with the new pool cover she has no idea what she is doing. So she prolly tripped over a pin. Gave eveyone a fright and Stan had to jump in with the first aid and between us we had to decide whether it was worth a trip to a local ostible. As she hadn't passed out and didn't feel sick nor dizzy we decided she'd be OK with a bit of attention.
Then dottir in law cooked us the most fabulous Japanese dinner. Really tasty.
Learned a lot about how Sake is made and especially about the mad way in which they make the most expensive stuff.
Have you ever tried it? Don't bother it is still poop, no matter what you pay!
Still we took them wine tasting yessdi and the Vignoble lady was lovely and we bought a few botts as did Son's family.
How do you move the botts from the camping car to the hoose?
In a wheelbarrow of course!

Sh!t man, feel for you!Right peeps im absolutely gutted an blown away to find out that my buddy an work mate
n partner is a total liar. Wots it about the usual "money" I was away doing other things so he was dealing
with a job..wages for two lads & materials ect so he got some money off the customer as the job escalated and needs more time/materials bla bla I asked how much the customer gave him, 4500 was
his reply so I gave him invoices from the hire shops ect and the costs of wages to pay the lads.
Gave me a grand as thats what was left.....
I had a chat with a friend who is a friend of my customer, I was suspicions when he was hesitant
when I asked how much he gave him. So I went to see my pal who made the call on the QT.
Thing is we went to a golf shop today where he spent over 500 quid on a set of 2nd hand irons.
then I had a call to find out what he was given and the answer was 10k ffs.
He doesnt have a clue that I know, but I dont want to give the game away yet as I need him to
finish the job. I am fkn ragin
Spent an hour on the phone tonight with him as nothing had happened. Now that was a hard
call. What do to next..
Cheers matey! She does this more often than I'd like, and I keep being scared that one day she'll really come a cropper!Oh ffs I hope wifey is ok matey.
Sh!t man, feel for you!
As you say, finish the job then demand all the money owed and tell him how much you know he has had.
Such a shame as I felt you and he got on very well.
Still you won't be putting any more work his way. Sounds like he needs you more than you need him.
Wasn't this the guy you spent so much on for a recent birthday or summat?
Total sympathy for you Kev. Can't believe it.!
Me too!Yup that's the chap. Im off to bed.
I hope that she is ok, between you it must be difficult getting things done. You both need to take it easy, your dvt and having a poorly wife can take its toll. Our thoughts are with you.Well today wasn't brill.
