I am so pleased to report that I have eventually finished shifting 'rubbish' about, thanks to my gardener who spent the whole day helping me. I am so sore and stiff in parts that I had long since thought no longer existed!
Does the mot station not do tyres as well? If you book it in with the addition of tyres, they would be happy to oblige?
My 90 is booked in with the addition of setting up the new headlamps I had to fit because the old ones were cracked

More luck than judgment. The tiles are big, quite heavy and designed to interlock, which is good cos when one breaks all you need to fix it is a new tile and two bits of wood to hold the others up a bit while you place the new one. I always have a 10 pack of spares. They seem to go on the North facing side, they chip and crack. A French mate reckons they were a bad job lot. But the winters up here can be fierce, so I suppose they don't dry out as fast as the rest. The ones only one storey up go quicker than the ones two storeys up.

I will not even ask the dealer for a price although they did tell me to look around as through them the prices would be much higher!!!!!!

I go to a local indy that actually knows about old stuff and is sympathetic. Having said that he will still fail it if it is wrong which I like.
