Well, today's "progress"(?) on the conservatory has not been stellar, just a lot of hard work with 2 steps forwards and one step back.
We have found many issues with the original elements of the base conservatory that are causing us problems.
  • Out of square
  • Not vertical.
  • Twisted frames/door.
  • Timber that has been cut from the cut/bowed/corkscrewed trees in foreign parts and then towed to the UK behind a submarine.
It has been a very trying and frustrating day and both Tom and I have had our "wood-butchery" skills and patience severely tested. ;)
But, we are progressing.

Smashed my eyefone & it looks as if its going to explode its bending outwards :eek:
but I have a noo samsung android in the box I didnt like it as it was much taller than
me eyefone spent the last while changing all my passwords n sh!te then transferring
via a google mail account ffs what a faff all done now thank fook.
I need an armoured case for it cause it wont last long. o_O

Are you putting a DPM under the timber onto the block work. :)

@kevstar well errr.... yes and no.
The timber going on that brickwork/blockwork is all "treated" C24 stuff.
The dwarf-walls are 3' high and they themselves incorporate a DPC. So there IS a DPC "under" all the new timber :rolleyes:, just not a secondary and new DPC directly under the timber.
I did consider it, for a few nanoseconds and then thought....."can't be ar$ed, I will be dead long before it rots away".

Look at the Griffin cases. Don’t buy the copies as they don’t bounce.
Get the one with a screen cover.
