@kevstar well errr.... yes and no.
The timber going on that brickwork/blockwork is all "treated" C24 stuff.
The dwarf-walls are 3' high and they themselves incorporate a DPC. So there IS a DPC "under" all the new timber , just not a secondary and new DPC directly under the timber.
I did consider it, for a few nanoseconds and then thought....."can't be ar$ed, I will be dead long before it rots away".
I find leaving it at home or in the car works.
But then nobody phones me
