He's at the low end of FL2 buying wiv 2500 sovs. It will be high mileage. If e's only gottid that to spend he would be bettrer oft wiv a car like a focus or mondeo eye would fink. Lr buying is eggspensive. Eye is concerned the running costs and maintenance might be too much ferrim.

Have you tried using a "bidwatcher" program (if it was and e-bay item)?
I use a program called Jbidwatcher and it lets you set your max-bid and sticks bids in right up to your max bid in the closing moments of the auction.

I have won several items thisa way, and avoided "win at all costs" fever

Yep. There's more money in selling and repairing the other vehicles they manufacture, so the FL2 stopped. They also took out some of the Freelander's reliability in order to increase sale of parts later in life. But the FL2 still lives on in spirit... independent suspension, unibody build and go anywhere ability on and oft road.

If they had of kept FL2 manufacturing going it would have led to the demise of all the other vehicles they make.
