A Virus you say?It had previously been reported by several EU countries to the WHO, it remains to be seen just how fast it will spread there.
There are already similar, but separate, mutations circulating in several countries outside the EU as well.
You're lucky, I have to wash and dry THREE Bath towels every day - lots of hair means lots of water. The rain has stopped so it’s dog walk time. Best dog out a towel for the paws
And so it continues.Yet another damp and dismal day.
But today is the Winter Solstice and in about 3 days time the days will start getting longer-and-longer as we head towards Spring & Summer. And so it continues.
Longer and longer, mmm, you mean more and more rain. Ugh!But today is the Winter Solstice and in about 3 days time the days will start getting longer-and-longer as we head towards Spring & Summer.
Can't say as I am feeling the warm sun on my back as yet, but that is quite right. But today is the Winter Solstice and in about 3 days time the days will start getting longer-and-longer as we head towards Spring & Summer.
Thank you, but I'm not sure what I have to be happy about at the moment. Now, if the rain stops and the sun comes out …… - wishful thinking. Can't say as I am feeling the warm sun on my back as yet, but that is quite right.
Happy Solstice to One and All!
Lots. You haven't got Covid, or at least, you haven't noticed you have had it. And you can talk to all us intellectually stimulating types, and to @Hippo as well, on this excellent forum!Thank you, but I'm not sure what I have to be happy about at the moment. And it is the Winter Solstice, always a day worth celebrating, the real Christmas!
Guessing they are staying in and protecting the NHS. But I agree, a quiet shop is always welcome to me when I go shopping. One thing that did happen today that made me happy was the very low number of shoppers in the Co-op this morning. No queueing for the till or to park the car and plenty of food for all to buy. The empty parking spaces were caused in part by some being under water! It didn't bother me as the car is used to that life and as I was wearing hiking boots and clothing after walking the dogs I was well equipped for life in the fast lane.
Couldn't agree more. All those with S-A-D say "Aye"!Lots. You haven't got Covid, or at least, you haven't noticed you have had it. And you can talk to all us intellectually stimulating types, and to @Hippo as well, on this excellent forum!

We are lucky here as we are protected from the southern 'infestation' by the two geographical barriers of the western Beacons and the Black Mountains!Guessing they are staying in and protecting the NHS. But I agree, a quiet shop is always welcome to me when I go shopping.
And that was even before Covid. I am not much of a mingler at the best of times!
And by there being no buses and trains, and hardly any roads! We are lucky here as we are protected from the southern 'infestation' by the two geographical barriers of the western Beacons and the Black Mountains!
