Nothing like Tartan with a tartin, if you see what I mean. no disrespect to mrs doriz intended (Just couldn't get past the opportunity for a bit of linguistic fun!)
While you were there, how did you miss this?!
SWMBO had a moggy thousand when we first got married. I took it in for its MOT but the tester wouldn't pass it because it had no rear reflectors (previous owner had fitted rear lamps off a wagon"Daftest things you have done while working on a car"
Member of my kit car club did the exact same thing, drilled through his fibreglass boot and into his tyre! and he wasn't even rushing to get it through an MOT! dunno if that makes you feel betterer?!SWMBO had a moggy thousand when we first got married. I took it in for its MOT but the tester wouldn't pass it because it had no rear reflectors (previous owner had fitted rear lamps off a wagon). He said to get it back before they close at midday (saturday) with reflectors fitted and he would pass it. In the short space of time I had I got a pair of triangular trailer reflectors and set about fitting them to the boot lid. I drilled through for the screws ---- and straight through the spare tyre
. But on the plus side it passed.
