There is a huge amount of stuff ont net saying the vans are eyewash!Yep. They have no more 'power' than any other member of the public
I don't believe they have 'detectors' but even if they did, i would argue the use of any device would be snooping on the activity of an individual in a private residence. Voyeurism?
Me too!
Can't even get to it with all the other vehicles in the way.
The thing that is being cossetted in it is an unfinished kit car that I haven't touched since about 1995!
Trouble is, it is a work in progress and so much of it is in my head! You should just give that kit car to me.
This really is looking good. Talked to that building/woodworking mate about your method of burning off the wood before doing whatever to it, he thoroughly approves!Evening all... Pizzed doon all mornin then the sun came out for a bit with a few wee showers.

It has been registered and on the road, to avoid SVA, but since then I took it almost all apart to "finish it and do it properly" and then my idiotic perfectionist soul came out. E.g. I redesigned the spare wheel holder about 3 times, and I still am not happy.
I debated a pop-up rollover bar, based on one that exists somewhere that senses when a car is just about to turn over, as the car is a sort of loose copy of a thirties roadster, which obvs never had RO bars. I spent a whole fortnight modifying a pair of P30 headlamps to take Volvo sealed units sat inside the shells and behind the original glass. Imagine all this was before LEDs had come to the market. In any form even domestic!
So the drive train, engine etc is in a rolling chassis but the rest is spread all over the place.

I won the kit in a competition in 1991.Quite fancy another kit car to mess about with, I had my eye on a couple but became too busy to
be messing about with motors so they've probably gone by now.
Before domestic led's

Note to self... don't lean on the handrails....Nope just the hand rail.
The latest gizmo seems to be a handheld jobby that 'analyses' light emitted from the window of your house to see if it matches a broadcast signal. Tripe if you ask me.There is a huge amount of stuff ont net saying the vans are eyewash!

Looks like the downward/below-stairs part of a newel post to me, a rail would be horizontal or at an angle wouldn't it?Nope just the hand rail.
