I suppose that's better than YellowsnowFundysnow in Scotchland?
I got knackered just reading that!
Any vacancies in the sampling and tasting department? I would consider coming out of re-tyrement if the job queue isn't too long.
!'d be happy just to get my stake back!I'd be quite happy with a 60k win
Just get into bed and stay there! Sleep the clock round like you'd do if you had a real skinful, with the curtains open.My sleep patterns are still awry after preparing for the failed night shift job.
Thanks for the reminder... I've just bought 4 lines for the draw tonight.!'d be happy just to get my stake back!
We only bet when there is a huge rollover. Stoopid really but then you have to have a laugh once in a while.
You didn't show her my post did you?Morning All
No Kids today! Gym later.
@Stanleysteamer SWMBO hear you and is moaning about the holes in her ceiling.
Apparently, they MUST be repaired or the sky will fall.
But first a coffee and some breakfast of mushrooms, bacon and egg.
Have a great day everyone
Pictures of the holes (as is) and the repairs when done will be forthcoming as and when. Yes, the methods you describe are the usual sensible approach. You didn't show her my post did you?
Anyway, best of luck with it!
Ow you going to do it?
I had to the same in France, quite a big circle the woodburner fitters cut in the wrong place for the stove pipe, silly bugres. They got the bum's rush!
Obvs I cut another circle the right size, in the right place and used it to patch the old hole, as the ceiling is suspended, I had to use a batten or two to extend beyond the patch and screw then down. but I could get into the roof to do this. The ceiling is dead smooth so a good finish was imperative.
If you can't get above it then you could still do this, it'd just be a bit trickier feeding them into the space. For smaller holes, about 8" I just plaster them into place. It is funny that I seem to have made this type of repair several times now!
you could get SWMBO to pas you things and hold stuff in place while you screw/plaster/Artex.
Course you could use any shape, or, thinking out of the box now, cut the circles out, repair them with offcuts, and then put them back in, maybe upside down? I always have offcuts of plasterboards. but then i never throw anything away!
Doubt if this helps as i am sure you know what you are doing. Not wanting to patronise just to share ideas!
Well thank you for that!Pictures of the holes (as is) and the repairs when done will be forthcoming as and when. Yes, the methods you describe are the usual sensible approach.

As they say never drink warm lucazade.Yes I think warehouse person could be just the job for you. Years ago all warehouse staff carried a lemonade bottle to work just in case the opportunity arose to fill it
So long as it doesn't involve more than sitting on a barrel and drinking tea, I'll think about itYes I think warehouse person could be just the job for you.
