It's been a very wild and windy night 'ere. The wee dog has been really upset by the noise so I have finally given in and let him out.

Morning all, dog walked and coffee made. Watching some YouTube before heading up to the workshop.
It's funny, I haven't worked on a Friday for over a year but I still get up at the same time!

Today is gonna be a strange one ...

Firstly, I've been called in to work on a Friday, first in about six years ...

Secondly, it's my daughter's 29th birthday ...

Thirdly, she's going to hospital today to be induced, as her baby was due on Sunday the 10th of May and has become used to it's 'lockdown' home ...

I await the 'phone ringing with some trepidation ...

Best put kettle on now ...

Morning All

Well last night was just a tad "Toasty" at Clarke towers, sleep was hard to come by.
Was reading some good old school Sci-Fi at 03:20 till about 5 (Aces High, G.r.r.Martin et-al).
Still awake at 07:40 and out to get her paper at 8:15.
A very different day today. Cool & windy here.
It looks like the shed-making project is going nowhere as the builders merchants have not replied to any calls for a quote and are not open to walk-ins.
Arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

I'm trying to buy a new grease gun and some grease off 'tinternet but they want just as much for postage as the cost of the items so I'm going to be a bit old fashioned and go to a shop at lunchtime and see what they've got in store.
I'll probably leave with a disappointed look on my face.

I have spent the last month trying to find something suitable that is in stock and at a price I want to pay

As they all come from China it seems the supply chain is running out!
