Hey Kev, glad the prob is a small one.

Arrived home to find Gibbo Phil and Desperate Dan attacking my garden trying to make it so you can walk from one end t'other!

Many thanks to those two. By the time it was laning time... My blood content in my alcohol system was a little too low to drive!

What a week Ive had , learning my new job. Only 4 more weeks training till they let me off the leash !!! Dying to get out and do some lanes but cant afford to at the mo. Been down to Kent today and diesel is £1.22p a litre down there !!! Shame I didnt have the dosh to fill up. I am so looking forward to laning on the plain guys and wish we could all spend a week down there !

Thanks guys. I'm pretty relieved myself.

Hey Discobasher, nice to see you're still on the planet. Hope getting back into the daily grind hasn't been too much of a culture shock.

I'm sure you'll be in full effect in no time at all. Spyderman tells me you are almost ready to put the engine in. As you might have seen, feel free to borrow my compressor if you want/need to but bear in mind I am away Tuesday this week.

Stay lucky!!

Hey Db

We're missing both you and Spyderman on the evenings/days lanings but be assured we are over the moon that your new job is working out ok.

Looking forward to seeing you at Salisbury... Still owe you a flagon of ale for getting me out of Ashwell (albeit with a little help from a friendly farmer!).

Keeping a low profile 'cos I know how busy you are with spyderman's motor but there are a few jobs to get done on mine too and I am hoping that I can get your help. (Though not before our trip).

Call us when you get some time free... I don't phone cos I know how bloody irritating it can be when someone calls at the wrong time to fit in with your shift pattern!

Good luck in the job my friend, I know how ****ty things can seem when money is soooooo tight but if it's any consolation, we are in that position too at the moment (along with a lot of other people on this forum) so we're all backing you 100%.

Cheers and see you soon

Ryder

Same here, just haven't got the cash to travel about much. Saving the Disco for big outings and still got the Sj in bits welding half the floor back together. Did have a little spend on a new CB today, last one didn't transmit and gave up completely after i pressure washed it.

YOu know what? I reckon CBs are gonna be a great enhancement to any of our motors for future outings.

I have a contact here who will have many for sale including twigs and all accessories for peanuts. PM me if you want his phone number I know he will not mind me passing it along.

12-14 Miles to the gallon. limited cash, and Jeremy Clarkson trying to get all lanes closed (repeated last night). Can things get worse?

hey Kris... Took a loot at the rig you're fabricating for Spyderman. What a brilliant job... fair play but it has given me an idea or two.

I have one of those great full length roof rack things. Having something up top to lock the recovery kit away, especially whenit gets muddy, would prvent the back of the disco from becoming mud logged and also alieviate the cramped driving conditions for the older children, (Younger kids are too vulnerable to travel in the back!)

Do you think your design could be modified to clamp to the roof rack?

Noooo not spam. Some of our crew have CBs and some are looking for them. This was a genuine suggestion and not touting for work or sales or anything else.

No offense intended and no flouting of forum etiquete intended.

etiquette? on this forum?

BBBAAAAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHA!!!!!

Can make anything to any size, with whatever fixings needed. Just as long as we've got the metal in stock. But even then not a problem, just takes a bit longer as i will have to add it to the next order of steel.

Maybe a visit is in order. You might be able to help me design the best option for the roof rack. Would this be ok?
