Hertfordshire Lanes?????

I'm going to do the lane next to the pub again tomorrow night if anybody fancies it.
I've fitted a new Door mirror arm, after snapping it reversing back down the lane to rescue Ryder.
 
Not going to be able to make it tonight (again :( )

Claire is still suffering quite badly with the old morning, afternoon and evening sickness and I've got to save for some new tyres. Any recommendations for 255/65R16s with a strong sidewall? :p
 
I may come down tonight in the van even tho the 90 is drivable it still isn't finnished enough to go greenlaning. but I'm getting there! lol Jai
 
half price fuel - now that would be nice! dreading the increase in running costs the landie will bring

Don't think of it as being an increase in running costs. Consider it to be a reduction in disposable income you would have wasted on other non Land Rover stuff.

yea thats why im glad i splashed out more on a newer one - will keep that lower than the one i was looking at!

hmm perhaps. money right now is bloody tight - by the middle of next year it should be no problem at all so if i manage to struggle though this bit i will be all good!
 
I think running costs are cheaper than last year, Diesel is much cheaper now than last summer, VAT is lower, my mortgage has gone down a few hundred quid and I'm busy at work, can't complain personally, but I know it's tough out there.
 
i have a tour coming up in 10 odd months, so at the end of that i will have about 12k sitting in the bank untouched - coz of course you dont spend out there. after that it will be no problem, gotta get to january though!

A Plan for this Sunday 5th April. First do Forty Foot lane, then head over to Whaddon for Pay & Play.

Jai has signed up already, Leonberger, Pintsize & Kris300TDI are hopeful, any more fancy it?
If you don't fancy Forty Foot, we can always meet at Whaddon.
 
will have to miss on this as my first as i will be in north wales having a bit of a play there!

next one i will try and come along!
