Hey Kev

Hope your well time is flying by not getting much done latley. My news is I'm selling loads of stuff to get a clear garage, the 80 inch trials motor is booked in to compete at the Nationals as is my 90. Gives me eek 30-40 days to try to Finnish it!

Hi Jai, we're all good thanks as are you and yours I trust. How's your bro? Hope there's been no more scares.

Know what you mean about time, I'm busy myself, got the engine in bits and have found all sorts of things. The issue started with a misfire, turns out to be (mostly) a head gasket, so doing both heads, while I am in there new camshaft is going in. Water pump looks like it has started weeping, so a new water pump is going on too. I've also recently replaced the fuel pump. So I am busy boy.

Morning all,

Good to see your all about, Still trying to sort things out for a camping trip later in the year, was planning for mayday bank holiday weekend, But a few things have cropped up that need sorting first.
All started off with wheel bearing, add to that a swivel seal gone on the same side, then some inconsiderate so and so took it upon themselves to slash all 4 tyres! So running on the spare set that were in the garage. Then throw in some insurance issues. Its turned out to be an epic couple of weeks of pain in the buttocks!

May bank holiday s few of us are at the Nationals, if you fancy coming and camping there I've already got a pitch and a spare vehicle pass so it'll cost you nowt Adam

I'm not about for a week or so.

Will probably do my Xmas day local run around Hitchen may be in the 88 instead of the 90 as he 90 needs its MOT soon and I'm out of time to go through it.

If your about we still have he pub meet first Weds of the month but it's now Eddlesborough at the travellers rest. Also if you fancy a watch or even a play come to one of the trials events we are at Brickhill next Sunday 11th Dec

Think we are all still alive.... I no longer have the Defender.... Had to grow up and get a sensible car, as we have a little one due in June. So got myself a Disco 3 :)

On a side note, My darling wive has booked us in on holiday in Pontrhyfendigaid for a week towards the end of the year..... Little does she know the area thats in!! :D:D:D

Been busy with young William and trying to get back into trials again. Booked to be comp safari-ing at the nationals end of the month however only one carb seems to be working

On FB more than here the new format doesn't really agree with my phone.

B3aker, what were you thinking - wife, child and ditch the 'fender there's no hope.
Jai, sounds like you're up to your eyeballs as ever. Ditch carbies go injection!!

As for me, well Rangey still running, not done any laning for probably 4 or 5 years. Like you guys home life kinda gets in the way but all in all can't complain not that it would make any difference anyway.

Take care and stay lucky, hopefully we can catch up again sometime soon.

Never did get to do any Herts lanes ...and every time there's a GLASS pub meet, hubby is out if the bleddy country :rolleyes:
So I'm wrapping my hand in , Betsy is for sale and hopefully I can stop worrying about whether she'll still be there in the morning or whether some scumbag has nicked her!!:)
 
MUds that's a shame loads of us around doing lanes and things

A few of us are up at Stainby for a camping weekend for the ALRC national if anyone fancies a day out pop up and watch some motorsport
