Oh, and Bettsy64, members of Herts GLASS are very active around the lanes and plan regular trips, including bank holiday weekend to exotic places such as Yorkshire and Wiltshire, worth joining.
 
well, after two days in peterborough, i have a shiny new set of wheels, an extended breather kit, a nato hitch, dash lights that work and a massive new hole in my bank account. Great weekend.

good to hear from you, I must confess noone really likes this upgraded site, plus that fact that it has no tapatalk support its kind of fallen out of use. Also personally I am in one of those phases where I virtually never look at forums at the moment (I sadly started using faceache more and chat with Lee, Jai & Stutab most on there or on Whatsapp.)

Last week I tried to whip up a pub meet but sadly noone was available. Dont be put off though, that was exceptional as we usually have a good wednesday night.

Yea I was set to come but Rach was ill and the in laws threatened to come over. So including commit :-(

Might be worth us organising an outing local Luton Hitchin or indeed further afield as a boom back into green laning in the new year??

The 109 gearbox when pop earlier this week. I've lost 1st and reverse. I don't suppose anyone has a spare for sale do they?

It's been a while since I checked out LZ, and amazingly this thread is still going. Moved away from Herts & Beds four-ish years ago and there was a lack of lanes up where I am now, so the landy is long gone.
Things are good right now - looking at moving again to a place with more space.... Should be able to get a toy to trailer around - I don't think its worth making road legal where I am.

Just thought I'd jump on and say Hi anyway.

After a short/long absence for having anytime to do anything! Changed job last year and have a lot more flexibility! Also the wedding is now well out the way so there's plenty of time to play now!

So looking at the planer this morning, I've stuck a weekend in the diary 27th - 30th of May for a laning/camping weekend somewhere. If anyone is interested??

Hope you've all been keeping well? Looking to sell the octavia and brave using the landy as my daily driver, have been doing so since rebuilding the engine and getting it MOT'd.

Long time no see, hope everyone had a good Christmas and New Year. Happy 2016!!!!!

I have been laning a fair bit in Wales and Norfolk this last year and kinda forgot about you guys here on the forum. This year Im looking to hit the Peaks, Lakes and Yorkshire. Various/any weekend always camping etc. if you guys (probably only the very old lot that remember me) are up for it let me know.

It would be good to get some dates booked in throughout this year so I can look at availability of friends and also plan some routes etc.

Off to the Cotsworlds in a couple of hours to start exploring the lames around there (limited lanes so I'm told but the ones that do exist are gems).

Hey guys!!

Happy 2016!!

Adam I'm screwed for May as we are down south at the nationals that weekend.

But up for most other dates!

We are moving the monthly pub meet from Dunstable to Eddlesborough well it's the travellers rest opposite NMJ car dealership every first Wednesday of the month. (JC should be easier for you to get to) it will include the Offroad club guys Anglian LRC as numbers were dwindling but hope next Weds we can get a few people there and see how the pub is and if it's good for our monthly meet.

Glenn your local, we should sort something out soon. I've got a 9 month old who was out in the Landy today and loved it.

I'm not on here as much I simply don't get on with the new software but usually in Facebook and that sort of thing.

Yeah we should defo sort something out. I'm up for the next pub meet, congratulations on the baby... Best thing in the world mate.

My little boy absoloutly loves the land rovers. Possibly up for coming to a trail too.

I really want to get some serious laning done this year. I figure my truck will probably be off the road next year for a galv chassis and bulkhead so going to make the most of it.

I'm planning the peaks as we speak. Few of my Jeep (sorry for swearing) mates are up for it so should be a good group of us and a bit of Jeep/Landy competition ;).
