Isn't that Brad's Disco, the one that came to Salisbury with us??

Did he ever fix the overheating? A 200tdi should't really overheat on a run, even if he had to remove the Fan because it was U/S. I think when he phoned Sunday he said the alarm is naffed all the windows down and not starting. Jai
 
its not brads no as i think he killed his on sunday at whaddon, its a red 3 door tax and test till end of nov think he said its in lutoni have pics if you want i can email them or i can PM my mates number
 
Hey DB... glad you enjoyed whipsnade... its one of those places that holds many a magic memory for me from being a child! Bit more expensive to get in now though!

My new ECU should arrive either 2morrow or friday so you may well be getting a phone call one night to do a few lanes its been a while :D
 
Gibbo is back and in full effect:eek:

Just got back from a gentle evening laning. Jai's favourite was sharpening its teeth, the frontera needed a tug back, the Rangie was on its' diffs and steering guard but applied more power and got through. A close one me thinks! Then on through the trees to the North and then down to Sandy Lane. A quick blast down the tarmac and through the fords. very pleasant.

The Rangie is warming up to throw another fit, I suspect it is the Halfrauds rotor arm, those things never work for long, the Rangie just chews 'em up an spits 'em out - lucky I got a proper, genuine Lucas one to fit in the morning. If it aint that I guess I'll be getting personal with the multimeter again. Anyway, the Rangie is mud coloured again:D
 
I'm back. I missed picking up my Landy today as I was too late for the garage, so I'll have to wait till Monday:(

Had a great time, managed to get a bit of greenlaning in the rainforests. It was just like Jurassic Park:eek:

Hi all
I want to go laning in Hertfordshire. Ive not been before and will be starting with a standard disco TD5. So I will need some guidance can anyone give me a shout when they are able to let me tag along?

No problem, you can join us anytime. I'll have mine back on the road from Monday and I'm itching to get out with it.
Has your Disco got any recovery points?
 
Yo Spyderman! Looks like you had a good time, nice to hear from you.

Just got back myself but only from a days laning. Glenn321 and Leonberger gave me a shout and we went out for a gentle cruise round - we have done lanes in Herts, Beds and Bucks today, glorious weather, a great day to be out and about. If this weather holds we need to get the team asembled for an outing somewhere, anywhere.

Anyway, Rangie running much better now it has a proper Lucas rotor arm but there is a definate issue with the speed transducer, lost my speedo at least 3times today - oh well never mind, I'm sure it'll be something stupid.

Cheers to Glenn321, Leonberger and Beth I had a great day out, hope you all enjoyed it to.

BTW Spyderman, you mentioned you might be able to get a stainless exhaust for the Range Rover, is that still a possibity?
