Yo Spyderman! Looks like you had a good time, nice to hear from you.
Just got back myself but only from a days laning. Glenn321 and Leonberger gave me a shout and we went out for a gentle cruise round - we have done lanes in Herts, Beds and Bucks today, glorious weather, a great day to be out and about. If this weather holds we need to get the team asembled for an outing somewhere, anywhere.
Anyway, Rangie running much better now it has a proper Lucas rotor arm but there is a definate issue with the speed transducer, lost my speedo at least 3times today - oh well never mind, I'm sure it'll be something stupid.
Cheers to Glenn321, Leonberger and Beth I had a great day out, hope you all enjoyed it to.
BTW Spyderman, you mentioned you might be able to get a stainless exhaust for the Range Rover, is that still a possibity?
Cheers all.
Baby permitting!
Loads of bills coming in and the companies just been cut down to a 5 day week because of slow trade.
I get mine back on Monday, so a quickie before it closes is in order. I don't think Harlington lane can stop the Spydiemobile now, no matter how wet it is.BTW Welcome back Spyderman... looking forward\to getting out there on the lanes again. I'll probably miss the last run at Harlington though
Still getting the warning signs.... looking imminent! One more tug on the tow rope perhaps
The SJ's coming along, need to re mount one of the headlamps and then most of the work is on the rear axle, brake shoes, cables, wheel cylinders and o/s bearing. should have a lot more hight on the from shackles now. when i fitted the new rear springs it always look a bit drag car like with the rear end sitting up high, now i've got round to fitting the fronts it should level out now. polybushed it as well. Parts are a pain to source, Land Rover parts i can get in half an hour, SJ parts as and when they turn up on ebay mostly. Suzuki main dealers don't give a SH*T.Yeah, I hear you loud and clear on that one - we're looking possibly at a 4 day week ourselves. A short working week is better than no job though. Anyway, I digress.
How is the SJ, has it still got 4 wheels I'm sure you'll get a ticket on it unless you've been abusing it again.
