Hertfordshire Lanes?????

Thanks gents, I will try and get down to the White Lion next month to meet a few people and will keep an eye on this thread as well to see whats going on.

Discostew yer we always take it to Old Warden steam rally and we drive it every where rather than going on a low loader. We will be out in April as well as they have a kids driving weekend at the end of april.

I'm not working that Sunday and I should have the discovery all sorted by then
But I'd have to see what the weather is like because I sold my off road tyres to cover the costs of the work I've been doing to it so for now its 18" rims with road tyres
But a mate of mine keeps asking me to let him know when we're all out next so he can tag along in his series III
So I could just go with him

Il see how things go and keep an eye on this thread

Been delivering around Essex today and its been snowing off and on but melting as soon as it hits the ground
They are saying the weekend will be bad
I'm working on the discovery outside and its the cold wind that's making things harder at the moment

It must be that I hear driving past my house sometimes in the summer
If I'm in the garden or garage with the door open
I've never seen I t but there's no mistaking the noise of a traction engine
 
sods law, everytime it snows i am away on tour. i won't be back until mid april. definately up for some laning soon. club 90 needs a run out!

Here is the reason I've been holding off on the treasure hunt. Colin B has sorted this out:

Any takers:: £15 May 5th, Please read all money to charity NO money taken in expenses.

The treasure hunt is a driving challenge, in and around the beautiful Hertfordshire Countryside. At Team Chaos we raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support and every penny raised/donated goes to the charity (we take nothing for expenses). Our treasure hunts are a fun filled driving event testing your navigational skills and observation, we have had great feed back from all our previous events and we hope to keep them growing and growing. All you need is a road legal vehicle (with a full tank of fuel), a driv...er and a navigator. We will supply the rest. This is not a race or a rally, it's simply good fun in a Sunday whilst raising money for a wonderful charity who no doubt have helped all of us be it directly or indirectly.
The cost of entry is £15 per vehicle, with up to 4 occupants (any more we ask for a small donation)
The start and finish is at the White Horse in Harpenden. Oh and just to entice you all, they have a beer festival on that day so lots of refreshments to sample once you have finished (please please please make sure you have a designated driver though if you are going to sample the produce available.
Lets raise some money before raising a glass.

Silly question but is this all road based or some green lanes as well? Also do we just turn up on the day or do you want us to pre-book. Sounds like a good day out i should be around that weekend so be up for it.

Its a laning treasure hunt. It should be a good day out and meet some new faces.
 
I think it's laning and a fair few road miles erm check out team chaos it's Colin and co organising it nothing to do with me I just spread the word as Colin an Co have always been promoting good causes for a while and are very nice sound people!!
