Things are comming along then chris, even tho you forgot you had lost a small bit of rubber, lol.
What a morning Matt and I had done one bearing no problem, went to do the drivers side, and not only was the hub bearings shaged but the swivel berings where shaged, the sivel was full of oil conatinmated greasey grinding paste, took it all apart back to the axle, and the Sivel was badly marked as well, so just waiting for Matt to get replacements, then I'll help him put it back together.
Had a sod of a job doing my new tow bar as well, lol.
You didn't tell everyone about my saggie maggies
Need some new springs that is..... drivers side has sagged. Still, it's a reason to get a lift done
Oh and something else.... just found these Land Rover Discovery 1 Swivel Housing Gaiter Kit | eBay UK they might be worth a try Cheaper than replacing a swivel housing every day
only problem i found with them on my v8 when they split and you use them offroad it keeps all the crap in there and damages the seal even more

Well got the rad in, filled up all fluilds, checked and re-checked all wires, hoses and bolts and had a go and getting it running.
Kept turning over but wouldn't fire. After checking the fuel system it would appear the injector pump isn't working, which is a right chunt as the engine started when it was in the other truck. Also for some reason I'm getting no power to the glow plugs.
Gonna try and make a retaining plate that means I can remove the pump without effecting the engine timing as I'm not taking the fan and rad back off again.
If I can then I will put my old pump on and that should be enough to get it running again, then I can look into why the glow plugs arn't getting power.
Not happy, wanted to have this done today so I could MOT it on tuesday.
