On a different note I have just listed my landy on eBay as breaking for spares.

I replaced the turbo yesterday and it made no difference. It also sounds like the big ends are going.

Anybody need any parts just let me know.

I have spent quite a bit on her so need to recoup some cash. :(

Not going to release anything more than this

That is passenger rear door, as you can see, glass still in tact!!

Don't want any more ambulance chasers after me

Disco is back. But been warned my last visit to Newbourne has wiped out what was left on the front pads.
So I've purchased a new set and will try and fit them over the long weekend.
Stu / Matt, when you doing those bearings?

was it your bearing in the end making the noise or your brakes.
Brakes are a doddle to do, even i managed with out breaking anything

Garage confirmed the front bearing was shot and its been replaced but just been for a good test drive and still a knock somewhere.
I'm going to get it under it over the weekend and find out where its coming from. Just searching Landyzone for a guide and to confirm what tools are required.

Nick, hopefully doing the bearings tomorrow.

Should be easy to do but I'll defiantly need stu's help after the crash. Quite stiff in the old upper body area :(

I'll give him a can on fuel for the hassle :)

Did you get a new fitting kit for the pads when i replaced mine the frist time the split pins broke and the springs fell apart, just handy to have a set just in case, they are only a couple of quid for a set.

all you need is a pair of pliers, couple of screw drivers, and some break cleaner, thats all I use, lol. I am prob about sunday morn if you need a hand. oh and some copper slip.

Engine and box are in a bolted up. Checked the cam belt and water pump and they both look brand new so decided to leave them on.
Todays stupid moment was fitting the gearbox back on the engine in the truck then realising I hadn't put the thrust bearing back on.
Big thanks to Brian for spending another day helping me, defently made it easier.
Still got to put the front suspension back together, fit the rad and do some wiring but I'm getting there slowly.
Got the day time free to work on it tomorrow and that leaves my day off on Sunday to get it finished.
