Nice night, and big portions, I was stuffed to the gills :D good job anorl, needing a lot of energy for dealing with a few fallen trees down here!

I have rung the GH, and they can do a lunch table on the 31st, 12, 12.30, or 2.15 pm are available.

I can work out a little route, there are just a few gentle lanes down that way, welcome to meet at the farm for a morning start.

If people are up for it, I will book that, it seems demand is keen.

Looking forward to it 😊

Yepp thats me! Thanks :D that would be a massive help. Although I'm thinking of selling my Landy for a more reasonable car.

And by reasonable, I mean a 110 with a TDI engine

If your thinking of selling yours I would aim to keep it original as possible more of a market for stuff which hasn't been mollested , as jess0 said the tdi is a easy enough conversion I had a 200tdi in my garage up until not so long ago and know where there is another good one if your still interested

Why? 2.5 petrol is a pretty good engine, and petrol is nice and cheap right now, and getting cheaper. :)

I'm after a big one that I can make into a bit of a camper vehicle. And by camper I mean a sleeping bag in the back. I love the 2.5 petrol, its so solid but I have that niggling feeling that I won't keep it around for too much longer and don't want to be spending too much money on it.

Its tough, and with the money and space I would keep the 90 and get a 110! And maybe a series 2a pickup too :D

Yes, it is easy to get a large collection, they all seem so deserving of a good home!:D

I used to sleep in the back of my 109 quite a lot when I was on forestry work, not too bad at all for a few nights! :)

And for the information of all down here, I have now booked the table at the Gurnards Head. I actually booked for 12.30, thought that would give us three hours if we meet here at 9.30. We should be away from there by 2, so time for a couple on the way home if we want. If I eat as much as I did the other night I might have to pass on the afternoon session  :D

If you want to have breakfast with my geriatric parents, you are welcome

Fraid we wont be joining you! :D

All the rest sounds good! :)

Well I picked up a 300tdi today! A very nice 110 with a lot of work put into it recently. Only hiccup was the high-low trasnfer rod thing snapped on the test drive! The seller and I played about and got nowhere after an hour. Mecahnics came and put it into high ratio within 5 minutes. I swear those guys are magicians.
When I have wheels swapped over and that rod replaced I will be green lane/off road ready! It only took a new vehicle haha.

Hope y'all are going to be having a great Christmas! How many Landy parts can fit under a tree?

Sounds good mate, a lot of people get trouble with the hi/lo lever as it rarely get used by some. Best bet is to use it ever so often to keep linkages freed up.

Yeah that makes sense, the car hadn't had a proper run in a few months. I'm hoping its easily accessible through the gearbox tunnel and middle seat xD Time will tell.

Yep just take the gearbox tunnel out and the panel underneath the cubby box for really easy access :)

I took out that panel and its exactly where I needed to be, as its not the rod thats broken. Its the clevis thing that has sheared off around the rod.

At least it is easy to access if I ever do need to change to low ratio before the parts arrive :p

And to yu too, Rich! and all the others :)

Bit late in the day, but we have been busy feeding, watering and fuelling visitors!

Hope we are all good for the trip on the 31st, looking forward to it! :D

Indeedy we are , really lookin forward to it 😋
