Central locking

Hi everyone lionel the bus driver here I am a new member and wanted to know if any of you can help.
I have a 2002 l322 and since I bought the car the central locking has never worked from the keys or the switch in the centre of the dash under the hazard lights.
The car locks fine with the key in the lock and all central locking works
But only from the key
Can anyone help

Just to let everyone know how I got on with my central locking on my L322
Tried to sync the keys but did not work.
to add to my problems the door lock packed up as well, but this was a blessing in disguise.
Because I was unable to lock the car know the only way to secure the car was to put a code into the screen in the centre console.
the only problem was I must have put the wrong code in because when I tried to start the car it would not deactivate so after 3 attempts it went into emergency restart which gives you a 10-min count down on the screen.
after the 10 mins I started the car and noticed that the interior lights where working, as I sat back to ponder this I put my arm on the door locking button and all the doors locked I then re-sync the keys and everything is now all working.
