Beds/Herts/bucks Green lanes today?

Hey guys, I'm not actually a landrover driver, or even a car driver for that matter, though I hope someday to be (I'm 18 and you can imagine the sort of cost involved with insuring myself on a 2.2 defender!!). My common interest however is offroading, I ride a honda xr motorbike and am always scouring the area for green lanes to explore and you guys seem in the know. So I was wondering if any of you could fill me in on the lanes around the extended area (I live in Totternhoe near Dunstable)? Obviously I know of Totternhoe knolls which is bountiful when it comes to byways though unfortunately you guys don't get to use most of them as they are restricted (bikes are permitted luckily for me) though I do know some sneaky ways for more adventurous landys to get in xD But I'm kind of hoping you guys can enlighten me to more and let me know if they are suitable for bikes etc?

I do ride lanes legally... I hold a full motorcycle A2 License and my motorbike is fully taxed, Mot'd and insured and i have never been anywhere where motorbikes are not permitted, hence why I'm asking you guys where legal places to traverse offroad are. If it were up to me I would be doing it in a defender but as I am 18 that's not really possible. So don't insult my intelligence just because my financial situation means I am only able to enjoy green lanes on 2 wheels, I'm not just some little pikey wanting to tear up the countryside, I've lived in a peaceful village all my life, studying for maths, physics and engineering A levels so I'm pretty sure my brain has grown... I would appreciate any more ignorant comments such as storms to be left out, it hasn't given me a great first impression of a community I would like to be part of in the coming future.

Would still appreciate any info :)

yeah thats understandable, trust me I am certainly not one of those people :)
