Ah Paisley, great memories of the pubs there, pint of heavy, surrounded by tattooed and bearded customers and then the men came in.:D:D

Glasgow and Scotland in general was a sight to behold before the licencing hours changed. People staggering about in the streets at 7 at night totally and utterly wasted. :D:D

Can someone confirm the procedure for entering the eka with nanocom please?
I've gone into settings and disabled alarm and immobiliser..do I also disable eka or not? If I scroll to next page eka is blank but my becm says it's unlocked?? I thought it this wS blank then it's locked?
I'm going into utility entering eka then pressing disable, it the says its INstructing becm to change alarm status or something like that, but it's still saying press keyfob, engine disable and if I try again I'm getting keycode lockout, then have to wait again for that to come off!
I think I may have the wrong code? Just waiting for LR to get back to my mate to confirms

Just waiting for my nanocom to come!
BUT, I beleive you can supply me with a drivers door actuator?
Can you pm me Marty with price please

I'll drop you a PM in a bit with latch prices etc - I've got a fair number of them to work through for other owners at the moment aswell, and I've had a few personal things going on aswell since I've returned back home, which has had to take a priority over tinkering with Range Rover parts! So if you can hang on a bit, I'm happy to look into putting you on the list for one, but if you need it urgently then I would advise getting one from elsewhere. Sorry about that!

To enter the EKA with the Nanocom, it has to be enabled in the BECM, and then you are supposed to go into the Utility section, type in the EKA code, and then press the 'Disarm' button. It should all then disarm and get all the locks to go 'clunk' and unlock the doors.

If it's not doing that, then it could be that the BECM has gone into an alarm lockout mode, where even entering the correct EKA won't work. If this is the case, then the alarm lockout needs to be reset with specialist diagnostics, as it's a case of connecting directly to the BECM CPU to unlock that and get it all running properly again. I have the diagnostics tools to do this if required, and am happy to quote on doing it if it ends up being the case.

If you disable immobiliser and EKA car should start. If you have disabled immobiliser and alarm EKA has nothing to latch to. Enable everything and try to disarm using EKA in utility. If BECM has gone to lockout alarmed state language will be listed as French date will say 1990 or something like that. If language is English it is not in an alarmed lockout state. If the EKA you have won't go in try 1515 see what you get. If BECM is locked only security code is visible. EKA and fob code will be blank. If BECM is unlocked all should be visible.

Tony I tried 1515 and also the code I was given, but if I try and start I get usual messages to enter Eka, press remote, etc if I repeat then I get key code lockout and have to wait..I've done it with everything enabled and disabled, key fob and Eka are blank and it says becm unlocked!
I'm confused as to what to do next!
All Ecu's are communicating- abs, eas, etc etc but I thought it would be a simple process of plug in, and away I go go haha
Gotta love a p38

Cheers Marty
I've tried everything I can with nanocom!
No joy!
Only drivers door works off key..shame as car is very tidy 97k and just wants these bugs ironing out! No faults anywhere else!
I've got plenty of time

If you disable immobiliser and EKA car should run, you should not get any messages on dash. Do it in BECM diagnostic mode with ignition switched off.

I'll try again tomorrow tony.
I'm sure I've done it with ignition on and off..
Will report back tomorrow, just In Wales at my static and only got my phone, signal is pants!

Disable immobiliser and EKA in diagnostic mode ignition off, write new settings to BECM. When you switch ignition on diagnostic mode will go after a moment, messages should be gone and car should run. As long as CDL switch is sound you should get full central locking using key. But fob won't work.

Ok,
I've just had another go! Don't know if it's something I'm doing wrong but this is what I'm doing- get in car, key In hand and not in ignition, plug nanocom in, go to disable alarm disable immobiliser disable eka..write settings, wait for that...then put ignition on! Turn key to start and usual bleeps! engine disabled, press remote or enter keycode?? tony you mention diagnostic mode? Is there another procedure I should do before I start?

If you plug the Nanocom in and leave the ignition off and select BECM you should get a message on dash "Diagnostic Mode" disable immobiliser and EKA in that mode and write to BECM then switch ignition on. Car should start

Nothing like that came up tony?
I could hear a relay under passenger seat clicking when doing commands on nanocom..
Would you say it's locked? And get Marty or Rick to sort it out...

Read the BECM check language under Settings > Options see what you have. Try it with ignition at position one you should get "Diagnostic Mode" on message centre. If the BECM is unlocked you should be able to reset everything in it with Nanocom . It is only when it is locked that you cannot change certain things.

I've just got my dad to check as I'm not back..
Language was set to French gearbox manual instead of auto and something about police lol I'll have a good look myself when I get back.
Thanks tony

If it says that it's French, Manual, and with a build date of something strange, then it's a good sign the BECM has gone into alarm lockout - which unfortunately requires the more specialist diagnostics to reset it.

I will drop you a PM regarding it a bit later this evening about it (about to go have dinner!)
