About 2 months ago my brother managed to get an eka code directly from landrover, they only asked for a vin number and it was the correct eka code they gave us. This was from landrover South Africa though.

Be careful with the Nanocom, do not start the engine with it plugged in, do not unplug it unless it's at the home screen, either of those actions could scramble the Nanocom firmware.
Got the car working again, wohoo.

The immobilization code had changed.
Also the engine type was wrong on becm settings? It was "early edc", tought that was weird since mine is -99. So switched that to late edc and after that i got it running again.

Also the car was selected as a police car in the becm settings...

Checked all the different menu / settings what else can the device do, and sent it back to the guy who lent it to me, with a little reward for his efforts.

Lesson learned, dont use universal testers in these cars. Atleast not Launch..
