    welcome there, could be bad earth as Blue Beasty said, sure you didn't leave any big loads on? like lights? I left my lights on at work last week and drained the battery, easily done if your buzzer don't work :rolleyes:

    Well a BMW to freelander is a substantial improvement to say the least, so you shouldn't get stick for wanting a freelander. Welcome by the way :) hopefully some freelander nut will be along to advise you, all I know is avoid the 1.8 as there known for problems...

    Oooh thanks discool I remember when I first got the disco there was a filter near the window that fell apart if I touched it, most was missing and it's all been washed away now, I'll look for a replacement of some kind, that makes a lot of sense now! Thanks.

    Mine is slightly noisy, I've had new spigot bush, release bearing, HD fork replaced, new clutch, slave cylinder and push rod, maybe it a land rover quirk :D

    If you have it over the sun visor doesn't it annoy you with the mic wire dangling and swaying about? I been thinking of putting mine up high bit thought the mic wire would get in the way.

    Done that circuit board job a min ago, it took longer to clear the crap out the glove box than to fix the board :D pointy nail scissors get the cover off the control unit well :) Found a dry cracked joint of solder, resoldered it, plugged in and my back passengers no longer have reason to moan...

    When I was out laning with you last week I noticed that if I was in low ratio and restarted the engine it would shake a lot more than normal on start up, but fine if in high, didn't think anything of it though seems fine now.
