Well a BMW to freelander is a substantial improvement to say the least, so you shouldn't get stick for wanting a freelander. Welcome by the way :) hopefully some freelander nut will be along to advise you, all I know is avoid the 1.8 as there known for problems...

And a hefty price tag... Fanatics selling dash cams if you see his section, they look great quality too by the video he took, and there a fraction of the price.

Oooh thanks discool I remember when I first got the disco there was a filter near the window that fell apart if I touched it, most was missing and it's all been washed away now, I'll look for a replacement of some kind, that makes a lot of sense now! Thanks.

Hello all yes a very unushal title but here goes! (300tdi disco 1997) Basically with some of the green lanes ive been down ive picked up all kinds of stuff in the airbox for the cab vents, I was wondering if anybody has fitted a filter or wire mesh or somthing to the air intake, Where is the...

Could it be traction control lamp?

Mine is slightly noisy, I've had new spigot bush, release bearing, HD fork replaced, new clutch, slave cylinder and push rod, maybe it a land rover quirk :D

If you have it over the sun visor doesn't it annoy you with the mic wire dangling and swaying about? I been thinking of putting mine up high bit thought the mic wire would get in the way.

Done that circuit board job a min ago, it took longer to clear the crap out the glove box than to fix the board :D pointy nail scissors get the cover off the control unit well :) Found a dry cracked joint of solder, resoldered it, plugged in and my back passengers no longer have reason to moan...

Could the Spigot bearing have anything to do with it? I could be talking crap :p

When I was out laning with you last week I noticed that if I was in low ratio and restarted the engine it would shake a lot more than normal on start up, but fine if in high, didn't think anything of it though seems fine now.

You checked all the engine and gearbox mounts? And the rubbers dunno if they could be worn?
