    May be nothing, but are both rear brake/indicator bulbs double filament? I put in a single filament bulb and when I braked with the lights off, the voltage goes back through to the side lights.!

    James, I think I understand you, however to move the bottom of the bulkhead backwards, hence lifting the door up at the bottom, do I need to undo loosen off any other bolts? Exactly how many bolts hold on the bulkhead on either side? Do I need to loosen the roof to the windscreen? Btw all hinges...

    Apparently you should put the steering on full lock before adjustment as well, as it will be less worn than the centre point of the box. This will ensure you over tighten the box at its least worn section..

    Not much, taken off the roof rack, seems to go 5mph faster without it! Gonna paint it black before I put it back on.. Gonna check the timing when I get that bloody wading plug out....wife has had me decorating all the time! Happy new year..

    I was lucky with this...hardest part was removing the old BJ ....... the drop arm came off OK when I used the two mallet trick:D

    ;) Plenty of tips if you search this forum..;).with mine I started with changing worn UJs in the steering column and then went down to the steering arm Ball Joint...eventually changed all the bushes on the suspension to get as good as new......however you may also have a knackered Steering Box...
