I do hope that you're going to remove the original foam backing, as thats the reason it failed in the first place, the foam decomposes with age & starts to 'crumble' to dust, then the adheision fails, you will be glueing new stuff to old, crumbling stuff. The old stuff MUST be removed first, (a...
