P38 Diesel battery

I changed my 2.5 DSE battery about 3 years ago, & STILL it kept going flat after a week or so, did the lot, RF reciever, etc.etc. took it to be tested & it showed all good, finally bit the bullet 18 months ago & bought the biggest-baddest basted I could lay my hands on, a 1000cca THOUSAND cold-cranking amps, guess what?? Been fantastic ever since!!
Even mid-winter, it spins like its summer-time & starts before I letgo the key!!
I can only assume the the old (new) batt had a sick-ish cell, & by the time I got it down to the place for testing, she'd 'come-up' somehow, anyroadup, the 'big-guy' did it for me, & she can be idle for a month & all is good again.
